300 g all purpose flour
50g granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1tsp vanilla essence
1. Butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add egg, vanilla essence and blend well.
3. Sift in flour to form dough.
4. Fill the mould with dough, and pipe it out.
5. Place the rolled-out pineapple jam ball onto the pastry strip, and roll it up. Repeat with the remaining pastry and jam.
6. Brush the surface with egg yolk and bake in pre-heated oven at 170℃ for 15 – 20minutes.
