地道甜品 Cambodia typical desserts

某日吃完晚飯﹐朋友帶我們去吃地道甜品﹐地方也不知是那裡…只知是路邊攤…這裡附近有很多攤…偏偏這攤為之最多人﹐還是很多高官富商所愛…所以來到這看到名車停在攤子前是一點也不出奇…Someday after our dinner, we went to eat the Cambodia typical desserts…I’m not sure where was the actual place, as I know is just a road side stall…Along this road have few stall selling the local dessert, but only this stall is pack of people…According to them, a lot governor and rich people lie to visit…

湯圓 Dumpling 1000R…黃荳內餡湯圓﹐外皮很Q…椰汁帶有淡淡的薑味﹐椰汁喝起來不是甜的﹐而是微微的咸…再來撒上花生和芝麻增加了那香口…There is soybean stuffing dumplings serve with coconut milk…The coconut milk was not taste sweet, is have some ginger taste and a bit salty…Added the peanut and the sesame again increased that fragrant…

入冬宴

台灣開始入冬了﹐雖然小王子不在台灣…柬埔寨也沒冬天…但還是有機會體驗一下那入冬的感覺…那體驗並不是氣候的轉變而是有機會和一班台灣朋友吃頓入冬宴…其實昨日吃過晚餐﹐老闆致電叫我們一起到台商洪董家吃飯…雖然吃飽了但應酬還是難免的…這一餐食物超多的﹐火鍋是洪董準備的…其它食物是中信酒店的張董從酒店餐廳带过来的…吃飯當然少不了酒…今夜有咖啡酒﹐高粱和洪董的藥酒…藥酒酒精度還蠻高的…但喝後會留下那藥材味在口腔徘徊蛮好喝的…很開心可以出席這入冬宴﹐雖吃不多但就是喜歡台灣人那好客和熱情的個性…也讓我過過台癮…吃了很多從台灣帶回來的美食…但吃後更想快點飛去台灣…

鐵板烧早餐 Teppanyaki breaksast

每天經過公司對面街﹐這攤路邊攤總是很多人…賣的只有兩樣早餐﹐那就是鐵板牛肉和鐵板沙丁魚…早餐吃鐵板牛肉﹐有沒有搞錯…打聽了才知道這裡的早餐價錢蠻便宜的﹐所以有很多學生光顧…Every morning pass by office opposite street, there is a roadside stall always full of people…While this stall just only selling two types of breakfast, that’s teppanyaki beef and sardine…I wonder why in the morning lot people taking teppanyaki here…And this teppanyaki only available in breakfast time in Cambodia, such a special breakfast…

鐵板牛肉&法國麵包 Teppanyaki with baguette 5000R…每份鐵板牛肉都會有五到六片的牛肉和一顆蛋﹐牛肉蠻嫩的…鐵板牛肉上桌是﹐建議加些醃蒜頭﹐黑胡椒和一些辣椒醬…這樣吃起來更滋味…其實份量不會太大﹐當早餐是剛好的…其實也只可以來這裡吃早餐﹐因為這樣的鐵板牛肉在柬埔寨只有早上吃得到…也是這裡的特色早餐…Each set of breakfast will come with egg and baguette or rice…Surprisingly the beef is very tender…Is suggest add garlic, black pepper and some chilli sauce when serve…The portion is not too big, is just nice for breakfast…

胡椒鹽桔子沾醬 Pepper salt with lemon juice…胡椒鹽在柬埔寨也是種常出現的調味料﹐多數拿來沾肉類…但這裡的胡椒鹽和台灣的確完全不同…這裡是單純的將黑胡椒和鹽拌勻…吃時在擠些桔子下去…味道酸酸咸咸的…還帶那黑胡椒香…The pepper salt here is different what we have in Taiwan, here is mix of black pepper and salt only…And add in lemon juice while serve, is nice to go with meat…

肯德基 KFC

肯德基在進軍柬埔寨才不到半年﹐這也是唯一一間的肯德基…在這裡看見肯德基特別的感親切…在某個酒會里有機會和肯德基柬埔寨區經理碰面﹐得知原來這裡的肯德基是屬馬來西亞肯德基和本地一間銀行合伙的…而且近期會有兩三間新店開張…KFC in Cambodia just less than half year time, and this is the only shop in Cambodia which is located at Asia hotel, Monivong road…And I meet the KFC country manager at one ball, and get know that KFC Cambodia is owned by KFC Malaysia and one of the Cambodia bank…And KFC are going to open their new branch in Phnom Penh and also Siem Reap soon…

Snack Plate, Spicy USD3.10…小王子還特地詢問雞和香料的貨源…原來香料全由馬來西亞運過來而雞就由本地供應…所以味道和馬來西亞完全是一樣的…就是不懂為何還是有人說和馬來西亞的不同…Found out that all the spices are import from Malaysia, while the chicken are supply by local farm…So the taste are totally same as back home, but I wonder why still have people say that the taste are different with back home…

Appreciation Dinner @ Inter Continental Phnom Penh

20日是我們柬埔寨新設銀行的盛大开幕式﹐今天的到來也意味着我很快將可以回去馬來西亞了,如果一切順利的話…公司將在金邊的五星 Inter Continental飯店設宴,但我們總覺得還未達到那水準…20th of October is our new setup bank grand opening, it’s our new born child…Means that I will go back Malaysia soon if everything goes smooth…At night we will have an appreciation dinner at Hotel Inter Continental Phnom Penh, which is 5 star hotel in Phnom Penh, but for us it’s not up to that level yet…And a round of cocktails launched the evening before guests sat to sup…
